Manta Exhaust System for 4.0L Petrol FJ Cruiser

The 4.0L petrol FJ Cruiser's performance is often limited by the restrictive factory exhaust system, which caps the engine output at a mere 175kw. The Manta exhaust system for this vehicle is designed to overcome this limitation, offering a 'cat-back' type system that bolts seamlessly to the standard catalytic converters. Unfortunately, a full system, including extractors, isn't feasible due to the vehicle's highly sensitive emission control system.

The Manta exhaust replaces the final two components of the standard exhaust system with a 2.5" mandrel-bent performance version. It incorporates a high-flow centre muffler, ensuring the system emits a deep, robust note without causing any drone inside the cabin. The system is available in aluminised steel and comes with a 2-year warranty.

The high-flow mufflers and mandrel bends in the Manta exhaust optimise flow rates when compared to the standard exhaust system, allowing the engine to breathe more freely. This results in an engine that revs more freely, develops greater peak power, delivers more low-end torque, and crucially, consumes less fuel.

The Manta system utilises all the same mounts as the factory system, making it incredibly straightforward to install. This ease of installation cements the Manta exhaust system's position as the simplest performance upgrade available for the V6 FJ Cruiser!
