3" Exhaust System for Prado

Our 3" exhaust system for the Prado is designed to replace the standard factory exhaust system, extending either up to the DPF (DPF-back systems) or up to the turbo (turbo-back systems). This upgrade offers significant performance enhancements, particularly in terms of turbo boost activation, which comes into play much earlier, thereby increasing responsiveness at the lower end of the rev range.

With a focus on maintaining a comfortable in-cab environment, we have incorporated two straight-through mufflers into the exhaust system. This design ensures that the exhaust noise level remains close to factory standards, eliminating any disruptive drone inside the cab. The mandrel bends and straight-through mufflers in our Prado exhaust system are designed to guarantee the highest possible flow, leading to optimal performance and fuel economy.

DPF Back or Turbo Back?

The latest model Prado comes equipped with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) from the factory. This device is designed to control the amount of soot emitted from the exhaust system. We offer two options in our exhaust range: DPF back (similar to a "cat back" system on a petrol vehicle), or turbo back (replacing the entire factory exhaust system, including the DPF).

The turbo back system does require a recalibration of the vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU) to remove certain functions associated with the DPF system. Please note that this modification is intended for off-road or race use only.
