Manta Exhaust System for 4.0L 150 Series Petrol Hilux

The performance of the 4.0L 150 Series petrol Hilux can be significantly limited by the restrictive factory exhaust system, which caps the motor's output at a mere 175kw. The Manta exhaust system for this vehicle, a "cat-back" type, bolts to the standard catalytic converters, bypassing this limitation.

Due to the highly sensitive emission control system of this vehicle, a full system, including extractors, is not feasible. However, the cat-back Manta exhaust replaces the last two parts of the standard exhaust system with a 2.5" mandrel bent performance version. This includes a high-flow centre muffler, and rear hotdog to ensure the system emits a deep, robust note, without causing any drone inside the cabin.

The system is available in aluminised steel, backed by a 2-year warranty. We offer the option of a chrome tip for the perfect finishing touch, or you can opt for a tip that closely resembles the factory version.

The high flow mufflers and mandrel bends in the Manta exhaust ensure the highest possible flow rates when compared to the standard exhaust system. This allows the engine to breathe better, meaning it revs freer, develops greater peak power, has more low down torque, and most importantly – consumes less fuel.

The Manta system utilises all the same mounts as the factory system, making it incredibly easy to install, and solidifying its position as the simplest performance upgrade available for the V6 Hilux.
