VW Amarok 2.0L Twin Turbo Diesel Performance Upgrade Package

The VW Amarok is a well-regarded 4x4, driven by a robust 2.0L twin turbo diesel engine. Many Amarok owners are keen to enhance the power, acoustics, and fuel efficiency of their vehicles, and we are pleased to offer the ideal solution.

We substitute the entire exhaust system, starting right from the turbo face, with a comprehensive 3” system. This includes a high-efficiency diesel-specific catalytic converter and a straight-through muffler. Following this, we flash the Engine Control Unit (ECU) with a performance tune. This significantly optimises the vehicle's driveability, as well as its power and torque.

When the exhaust system and ECU tune are combined, we have observed power outputs of the Amarok increase by anywhere from 20 – 40%. The real advantage here is that all this additional power does not compromise fuel economy. In fact, fuel consumption typically decreases, as the engine operates with greater efficiency.
