Revamp Your 70 Series Landcruiser with the Manta 3" Exhaust System

The current 70 Series Landcruiser's 1VD V8 4.5L common rail turbo diesel engine has made a name for itself as a robust off-roader, boasting lorry-like power and an impressive amount of torque from the outset. However, the standard Toyota exhaust system that comes with the Landcruiser from the factory is rather restrictive.

The standard exhaust, which narrows to as little as 1 & 7/8", runs through a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and baffled muffler, muffling the powerful sound of the V8 motor. The installation of a Manta 3" exhaust system can revolutionise this. With full 3" piping running from either the turbo face or the DPF to the tail, it's available in various configurations. This means you can maintain a factory-level exhaust note, unleash a wild, unmuffled V8 roar, or find a satisfying balance between the two.

Enhance Your Vehicle with Our New Twin 3" Tailpipe Version

For the ultimate in aesthetics and sound, we now offer a twin 3" tailpipe version. If you already have a Manta exhaust, this can be easily bolted onto your existing system. We also have our long-awaited 4" system available, which is our Extreme version, offering the loudest possible note and maximum flow.

Replacing the standard exhaust with a 3" version offers numerous benefits, including reduced turbo lag, improved peak power and torque, greater responsiveness, and lower fuel consumption. On average, we see a 15% gain in power and around 1 – 2L per 100km reduction in fuel consumption with a full exhaust and tune.

The full 3" exhaust is consistently rated as the best performance modification for the V8 Landcruiser, not only for the glorious sound it produces but also for the significant improvement in drivability. Many dealers are fitting them on brand new vehicles – don't delay in upgrading yours!
