Upgrade Your 70 Series Landcruiser with a Manta 3" Exhaust System

The 1VD V8 4.5L common rail turbo diesel engine in the current 70 Series Landcruiser has earned a reputation for its robust off-road capabilities, truck-like power, and impressive torque from the get-go. However, the standard Toyota exhaust system significantly restricts the vehicle's performance potential.

The standard exhaust, as small as 1 & 7/8″, runs through a diesel particulate filter (DPF) and baffled muffler, muffling the V8 engine's powerful sound. The Manta 3″ exhaust system changes all that. With full 3″ piping, running from either the turbo face or the DPF to the tail, it's available in various configurations. You can choose an exhaust note close to the factory level, opt for a wild, unmuffled V8 roar, or find a happy medium.

Enhanced Looks and Sound with the Twin 3" Tailpipe Version

For the ultimate in aesthetics and sound, our twin 3″ tailpipe version is now available. If you already own a Manta exhaust, this can be easily bolted onto your existing exhaust system!

Introducing the Extreme 4" System

Our long-awaited 4″ system is now available! This is our Extreme version, offering the loudest possible note and maximum flow.

Replacing the standard exhaust with a 3″ version offers numerous benefits, including reduced turbo lag, improved peak power and torque, greater responsiveness, and reduced fuel consumption. On average, we see a 15% gain in power and around 1 – 2L per 100km reduction in fuel consumption (with a full exhaust and tune).

The full 3″ exhaust is consistently rated as the best performance modification for the V8 Landcruiser, not only for the glorious sound it releases but also for the significant improvement in driveability. Many dealers are fitting them on brand new vehicles – don't spend another day without one!
