Enhance Your 70 Series Landcruiser with the Manta 3" Exhaust System

The 1VD V8 4.5L common rail turbo diesel engine in the current 70 Series Landcruiser has earned a reputation for its robust off-road capabilities, truck-like power, and an impressive amount of torque right from the start. However, the standard Toyota exhaust system that comes with the Landcruiser off the factory floor is rather restrictive, limiting the vehicle's full potential.

The standard exhaust, with its narrow 1 & 7/8″ diameter, runs through a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and a baffled muffler, muffling the sound of the V8 engine. The Manta 3″ exhaust system, however, transforms this. With full 3″ piping running from the turbo face or the DPF to the tail, it’s available in several configurations. This allows you to choose an exhaust note that matches the factory level, opt for a wild, unmuffled V8 bark, or find a happy medium.

Introducing the Twin 3" Tailpipe and 4" Extreme Versions

For the ultimate in aesthetics and sound, we now offer our twin 3″ tailpipe version. If you already have a Manta exhaust, this is available as a simple bolt-on to your existing exhaust system! Furthermore, our long-awaited 4″ system is now available! This Extreme version offers the loudest possible note and maximum flow.

Replacing the standard exhaust with a 3″ version offers numerous benefits, including reduced turbo lag, improved peak power and torque, greater responsiveness, and reduced fuel consumption. On average, we see a 15% gain in power, and around 1 – 2L per 100km reduction in fuel consumption (with a full exhaust and tune).
